Intrax J1 Visa Service Fees
The program fees will be determined by the number of months of your internship or training. Trainees and interns pay the same fees. The fees include:
- Direct FedEx Shipment of the DS 2019 to your home address
- Medical Insurance for the duration of your stay
- Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) fee ($180) paid by Intrax to the U.S. government
- Administrative costs associated with the processing of the
DS 2019 - Orientation and other pre-departure advisory services
- 24-hour emergency support during your stay in the USA
The fees do not include costs for your flight nor for your interview at the U.S. embassy ($130).

Plan 1: Single Payment
This plan allows you to pay the entire program fee at once. By choosing Plan 1, you will receive our lowest available program pricing.
The program fee can be paid by credit card or wire transfer. An Intrax representative will contact you via email with payment instructions after you submit your online DS 2019 application for the J1 visa.

Plan 2: Pay-As-You-Go
This plan gives you the flexibility of making smaller payments by credit card during each month of your program. If you obtain a paid internship or training, this will allow you to pay your program fees while you earn money in the USA. However, the complete sum will be blocked on your credit card once we have received your complete application. Plan 2 includes an additional financing charge.
- 665€ Initial Payment: This fee can be paid by credit card only. An Intrax representative will contact you (via email) with payment instructions after you submit your online DS 2019 application.
- Monthly Payments: Monthly payments must be paid via credit card. Intrax will collect your credit card information before we issue your DS 2019 form, and your card will be billed automatically during each month of your program.

Expedite Service
If you run out of time, you can use our expedite service. We can send you the DS 2019 within 2 days after having received the complete application and payment. This service costs an additional $600.
Extension Fee
Participants who are in the USA and are eligible to extend their program may submit a request for program extension. All program extensions will take place directly between Intrax and the participant. There is a $400 administrative fee, plus a monthly insurance fee of $50 for the additional period of time, up to a maximum of 12 months (for interns) or 18 months (for trainees).
J2 Visa Fee
The administrative fee for the DS 2019 for J2 visa applications is 400€ for the first month (including medical insurance), 40€ for each following month.
