J1 Visa Service Refund Policy

All applications received by Intrax are subject to the following policies concerning refunds. Any request for a refund must be made in writing, by submitting a completed refund form.

General Refund Conditions

In order to receive a refund or credit, applicants must submit a completed refund form
If the DS-2019 has already been issued, applicants must return original DS-2019 form back to Intrax
If the program has already started and is being terminated, applicant must prove that he/she has returned to home country, for example by sending the boarding pass along with the original DS-2019 to Intrax
If an on-site visit has been conducted, there will be no refund of the 195 € fee for such on-site visits

Program cancellation due to impersonation or forgery	No refund
Program cancellation after the DS-2019 has been issued	Cancellation fee: 390 € / £ 330
Program cancellation after the applicant has arrived in the USA	Cancellation fee: 390 € / £ 330 plus program fee for months already on program
Program cancellation after 50% of the program duration has passed	No refund

Program cancellation prior to issuing the DS-2019	Cancellation fee: 100 € / £ 85
Program cancellation due to impersonation or forgery	No refund
Program cancellation after the DS-2019 has been issued	Refund of insurance fee (40 € / £ 34 per month) for any unused months if there is at least a refund of 2 months

Withdrawal by participant before placement in an Internship position and prior to DS-2019 issuance

Cancellation Fee for Business Internship:
20% of Program Fee

Cancellation Fee for Hospitality Internship:
20% of Placement Fee
