Refund Policy
All applications received by Intrax Career Development (ICD) are subject to the following policies concerning refunds. Any request for a refund must be made in writing, by submitting a completed Refund Form.
Refund Schedule
ICD refunds are issued by the 30th of each month. To receive a refund, all supporting documents for that refund must be received by ICD by the 15th of the month. If conditions are met after the 15th, the refund will be sent on the 30th of the following month. No refund will be issued if the conditions have not been met.
General Refund Conditions
- In order to receive a refund or credit, applicant must submit a completed Refund Form.
- All unused DS Forms must be sent back to Intrax along with the supporting refund documentation.
- In the event of an application/program cancellation due to participant illness, family illness or death, a doctor's note (with English translation) regarding the condition must be received by ICD before the refund can be issued.
Application Fee
The 25€ portion of the application fee is non refundable in all cases. The applicant understands and agrees that these funds are utilized to verify the information that the applicant has entered in regards to the placement. In the event that the Host Company declines the placement information, the 25€ will not be refundable. In this case, applicant does not hold Intrax Career Development liable for this transfer.
Visa Denial Refunds
In order to receive a refund of the Sponsorship fee as a result of a visa denial, you must adhere to the following procedures.
- You must inform Intrax by email of the visa denial within 3 days of the denial.
- The following documentation must be received:
- DS-2019 Form with a stamp by the US Embassy
- A copy of the participant's passport page showing denial, as well as the page(s) showing the photograph and biographical data
- Refund Request form

Applications that are cancelled after the DS-2019 is issued
- If an application or program is canceled for any reason after the DS-2019 is issued, the DS-2019 form must be returned to ICD.
